Attento!  Pizzeria Prima Strada is the first fine establishment on Vancouver Island to have Peroni Nastro Azzurro on draught!  The bottles in the coolers have been replaced by fresh kegs of Nastro Azzurro.

That’s right, the popular and tasty Italian lager has joined the local beers on tap at Pizzeria Prima Strada.  It’s an authentic Italian beer for authentic Italian pizza.

From a brewery with a long history (est. 1846), Nastro Azzurro (Blue Ribbon) is a relatively young.  Launched in 1964, the name was inspired by the SS Rex.  The Rex received the prestigious “blue ribbon” prize for crossing the Atlantic in the record speed.  We happily “tested” Peroni on our recent trip to Italy and can assure you it tastes great!

In an homage to its history, Peroni has created bold and beautiful commercials paying tribute to Italian cinema.  Until you can enjoy a frosty glass of Nastro Azzurro at Prima Strada, watch a Peroni clip and enjoy!  Cin cin!
